THE UNKNOWN [POEM]

The Unknown

Who knows where it all began,
Forget if it ever ends.
We must rise,
Only to descend again.

Let me taste the sting of loss,
The ache of sorrow’s cold embrace,
Feel heartbreak carve its silent mark,
While tomorrow flees with a traitor’s face.

Let me weather agony’s storm,
Anchored to my ship as its timbers groan,
The sea swallowing dreams,
Yet I refuse the drift of surrender.

Spare me the solace of peace,
The quiet lies of tranquility.
Let sacrifice weigh heavy on my soul,
And teach me the silence of abandoned hopes.

This dream—a crucible of suffering,
Forged in the fire of endless will.
An unspoken hymn of defiance,
Reserved for dwellers of the unknown.

Leave me to the woe of longing,
Deny me the illusion of comfort’s caress.
Let my aspirations crumble like ancient stone,
As time steals all with shadowed touch.

I want the painful truth,
Not mirages that dissolve with the light.
Let pain transform me into more,
Even if I am the one that dies.

Let me stand before inconceivable odds,
To conquer a paradox with trembling resolve.
Let me earn my seat amongst the Gods,
Forged by trials only they could withstand.

My purpose burns eternal,
An ember daring the infinite void.
In this wondrous game of existence,
I bow to no illusion—I refuse to submit!
